AA Battery Foldable Solar Charger

The new PowerFilm AA Foldable Solar Battery Charger charges 2 or 4 AA NiMH or NiCd rechargeable batteries. This new model has been updated to 600mA max. charge rate. The lightweight and durable PowerFilm flexible solar panels are integrated with the fabric keeping the weight of the solar charger less than 4 spare batteries.

Using the PowerFilm AA battery charger - 2 batteries will charge at 600mA charge rate and 4 batteries will charge at 300mA charge rate. Approximate charge time is 3-4 hours for 2 batteries and 6-7 hours for 4 batteries, depending on battery capacity.

Charging circuitry maximizes charge into the batteries and LED indicator lights display charging status and charge completion.

The PowerFilm AA battery charger has six grommets allow for secure fastening to a pack or to the ground.

These solar chargers have been used by the US military for a number of years and are now available to consumers.
