The Hiker Pro by the water filtration experts at Katadyn combines a versatile three-step purification process with the lightweight durable design of their popular Hiker filter. This ultra-portable unit uses a 150 micron pre-filter to keep dirt and debris from clogging interior components and the quick-connect fittings make it ideal for fast filtration and portability. Katadyn designed the hoses to connect to standard hydration packs and the Hiker Pro comes with bottle adaptors that fit easily onto the top of most water bottles.
The interior glass-fiber filter and activated carbon work together to remove chemicals and bacteria from any water source. Although the hose pre-filter helps extend the life of these components, every Hiker Pro comes with a field maintenance kit that makes cleaning these filters fast and easy no matter where you are.
