AntWorks™ is the ultimate high-tech ant farm. It’s a fun and educational way to watch one of the most fascinating insects on the planet. The attractive clear plastic case contains a space-age see-thru gel, which is the ants’ unique habitat.

The AntWorks™ special gel is more than just the ants’ walls, ceiling and floor. It’s their food and water too. The gel provides almost everything they need to survive, so you don’t have to worry about a feeding schedule. Once you put the ants inside you simply open the lid every week or two, to let some air in. That’s it. A jeweler’s magnifying lens is included, so you can get to know all your ants up close and personal.

This LED illuminator fits snugly into your AntWorks base and when plugged in will shine four bright blue LEDs up through the turquoise gel. The bright blue LEDS highlight the tunnels and gel. Perfect as a bedside, desk or shelf accent light!
